Hunter Valley Wedding Photography

Documentary, natural light, and fine art wedding photography focused on candid, unposed moments.

My Approach to Wedding Photography

I take a natural and relaxed approach to wedding photography, with a mix of documentary, natural light, and fine art. Instead of directing every moment, I focus on capturing candid, unposed moments as your day unfolds.

From the quiet moments before the ceremony to the energy on the dance floor, I document what’s real. The reactions and small moments that make your day feel like yours.

I use natural light where possible to keep your photos soft and true to the moment. It helps create images that feel honest and easy to look back on.

If you’re not used to being in front of the camera, that’s completely fine. I’ll guide you when needed, but most of the time I keep things simple so you can enjoy your day.

My goal is to give you photos that bring you back to how it felt, not just how it looked.

Photographing moments that last

Wedding photos are more than just images. They hold the moments that matter, the laughter, the emotions, and the people around you.

Over time, these moments become even more important. What feels like a quick part of the day becomes something you come back to again and again.

Your wedding day goes by fast, but your photos let you revisit it. The way it looked, the way it felt, and the little details you might have missed.

That’s why I focus on capturing your day as it really is. So years from now, you’re not just looking at photos, you’re remembering the moment.
