La Perouse is one of the more varied coastal spots in Sydney, with a mix of rocky shoreline, open paths, and ocean views all within walking distance. It works well for engagement sessions because there’s enough space to move around without feeling restricted, while still keeping everything close together.

The location has a natural balance between open space and texture. The coastline gives a clean backdrop, while the rocks and surrounding areas add variation without needing to travel far. This helps keep the session relaxed and uninterrupted.

1. Bare Island Fort                                                                              

A historic sandstone fort linked to the mainland by a wooden bridge, Bare Island offers a mix of character and dramatic water views. It’s a great spot for couples who want that little extra edge to their gallery.
